This AAA SR has been produced on behalf of the MHU (Model Horses Unlimited) to celebrate their 20 year Anniversary.

This is the first Earthenware Dauntless SR to have been released, and he does look very handsome and workman like in this medium Dappled Grey. He is a mini sized china horse (approx3 inches high) and he has been finished in a high gloss glaze. Only 25 copies of this Dauntless will be made, and each one will be numbered and will have the Alchemy decal on his tummy.
Dauntless is typical of the Old fashioned English Cob, who would have to undertake many of the tasks required by the typical Victorian/Edwardian family, driving trips to market and to church, and to be quiet enough for all of the family to ride, but with enough spirit to enjoy occaissional days hunting when the opportunity arose.
"Dauntless" is also available in White Earthenware Bisque prepared and produced by Alchemy Ceramics he has all the attention to detail that you would expect from an Alchemy edition. Each part is cleaned and detail enhanced to give an outstanding finish. The body is fired at the maximum end of the firing scale, 1155 degrees Centigrade/2110 degrees Fahrenheit giving a very strong fired sculpture.
Alchemy has tested the regular American glazes on the body with no sign of rejection. As the pieces are bisque fired in small chambers, each piece is guaranteed a good firing, there fore reducing the chances of the glaze crazing in out lifetime. However, the bisques are not available at present and would take a 4 week turn around time after the order is placed.
