Animal Artistry Show Specials
In 1996 Donna had remade her Striking Out Arabian Stallion into a circus pony, complete with tassels (and a new mane and tail). She brought him with her to the shows she visited and sold it only at these shows. Later, in 1999, she made an arabian gelding in mini-sized, which she only sold at shows she visited (though members of the Connoisseurs Club could order one). 2000's show special was a Hackney mare and for 2001 Donna has created the 'boxing shire'. 2001 was the first year a china model was available as a show special; the mini Striking Out Arabian Stallion (AACC model for 2000), in grey for Jamboree and in black for BreyerFest. For 2002 Donna remade the AACC Fjord to a Highland Stallion. In 2003 Dauntless, the first named mini, the showspecial resin, and in china the mini Thoroughbred in grey for Breyerfest and bay for Jamboree. In 2004 the Dauntless era continued with a hairy version of Dauntless. For 2005 we got Norman, a remade mini Friesian Mare, but no china. And in 2006 the show special in resin was Tagus and Norman returned in china.
